Harvested some morels today, a little over 700 grams fresh. Planning on drying them for later. I was surprised to find so many, last year there were only two or three. Morel hunting can be rather esoteric, but I gather that there is a correlation between dead elms and morels. These were all found within a few metres of the victim of dutch elm disease.
